Gerard F. McDonough

Gerard F. McDonough is cofounder and president of Booth Morgan Marketing Innovation, a strategic innovation and marketing firm that advises the owners of small and mid-size companies and professional firms. He also advises corporate governors of large public companies who seek to maximize shareholder wealth through customer value governance. Drawing upon twenty years of field experience with companies in 100 industries, Gerry helps entrepreneurs and business owners build sales, profits and wealth by maximizing the ROE (return on effort) of the innovation and marketing functions.

Gerry has authored several papers on the subjects of marketing, business development, customer value governance, and customer-profit causal relationships. His business background includes 15 years' experience in customer loyalty economics, marketing, and strategy development with Merrill Lynch & Co., Chase Manhattan Corporation and Booth Morgan Consulting; and five years' experience as co-founder and president of an electronic information company, which he sold to R.R. Donnelley & Sons Company in 1984.

Gerry is a guest lecturer at Bentley College and has lectured on the topics of innovation, marketing and customer value governance throughout the United States, Canada and Japan. He is an active member of the National Association of Corporate Directors and the Academy of Management.
